About

The Riverside Clean Air Carshare (RCAC) program is a collaborative effort between the City of Riverside, Mobility Development Operations, UC Riverside’s Center for Environmental Research and Technology (CE-CERT), CALSTART, and the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

This innovative program provides the Riverside community with access to a fleet of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, offering a clean, sustainable, and convenient transportation option. RCAC helps bridge transportation gaps by supporting first-and-last-mile connectivity and improving access to public transit in underserved areas.

Rooted in a commitment to environmental responsibility, RCAC plays a key role in improving local air quality, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and expanding equitable access to zero-emission transportation solutions.

For more information on the selected Riverside communities, see this project area map.
