Homebase (BAAEC program)

Thanks to the many interested residents, our goal for installations has been met and partners are no longer accepting applications.
The Bassett Avocado Heights Advanced Energy Community (BAAEC) CarShare program (a.k.a. Homebase) offers residents a free EV charging station installed at their home, to charge a SGV Carshare all-electric vehicle. The resident also gets exclusive access to the EV for 1-2 months for a greatly discounted rate. The resident gets to keep the charging station when the program ends. This program was designed to grow access to and usage of EVs to reduce carbon emissions in the San Gabriel Valley. It was funded by the California Energy Commission.
